Who is next on the FBI Most Wanted list?

There are currently 9 fugitives on the Most Wanted List

Last year one of the most notorious fugitives ever was taken off the FBI’s Most Wanted list – Osama Bin Laden.

When he was killed in Pakistan by the U.S. military last year he was taken off the list and it took almost an entire year until someone was placed on the list in his place. Eric Justin Toth – Toth, a former teacher and camp counselor, is facing child pornography charges and is currently a fugitive with up to a $100,000 for information leading to his arrest.

But why did it take so long to replace Bin Laden on the list? And why did they replace the world’s most dangerous terrorist with a former teacher who is suspected of child pornography? Surely there is someone on the planet who is more dangerous than a computer nerd posting ads online to be your nanny?

Adam Mayes added to FBI Most Wanted List

Kidnapping and murder suspect Adam Mayes has been placed on the FBIs most wanted list replacing mob Boston boss figure James “Whitey” Bulger.

Mayes is suspected of killing a mother and her daughter as a means to kidnap her two other younger daughters.

JoAnn Bain and her daughter Adrienne 14, were murdered while the two youngest daughters are Alexandra and Kyliyah Bain were kidnapped.

Mayes and his wife Teresa have been charged with first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.

While there is no motive yet for the crime, the FBI fears that the the two young girls could be in imminent danger and urges anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Mayes or his wife is encouraged to contact the FBI.

There is a $71,000 reward for his capture.

Eric Justin Toth – One of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives

Eric Justin Toth rose to fame into two different ways, but neither of them particularly good; first, he was added to the FBI’s most wanted list, and secondly he took the place of Osama Bin Laden who was killed one year ago.

According to the FBI: “Eric Justin Toth, a former private-school teacher, is wanted for allegedly possessing child pornography in Washington, DC. It is alleged that in June of 2008, pornographic images were found on a school camera that had been in Toth’s possession. Toth also allegedly produced child pornography in Maryland.”

James “Whitey” Bulger’s trial date announced

Former South Boston organized crime figure, James “Whitey” Bulger is going to get his day in court.

The trial is scheduled to start November 5th, 2012 at which time he will face a series of charges including, extrortion, racketeering, narcotics distribution and 19 murders.

Bulger’s attorney’s are seeking an extension in the trial date, claiming they have far too much evidence to review in such a short period of time.

Bulger, 82, was arrested last year in California as one of the FBI’s ten most wanted fugitives. Both he and Osama Bin Laden were the only fugitives crossed off the list in 2011.

He has pleaded not-guilty to all of the charges.
