Ravi guilty in Rutgers webcam spying case

Dharun Ravi was found guilty today and faces up to 10 years in prison.

Dharun Ravi, 20, was found guilty today on all counts against him in a New Jersey courtroom.

The former Rutgers University student was spying and intimidating his roommate, Tyler Clementi by using a hidden web cam while he and his boyfriend were “making out”. Clementi committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington bridge after he discovered that Ravi had recorded his sexual liaisons with another man.

Ravi faces up to 10 years and deportation back to India when the judge hands down his sentence on May 21st.
